The Importance of Transparency in Treatment
"If you've got diagnoses like I do, then the way that you're going to be viewed by professionals in the field is extremely dehumanizing and largely takes away your agency," she says. "I still don't see why it's not transparent... Maybe there would be people who wouldn't call or wouldn't take them and we'd lose them." She adds: "It's so complicated because you can kind of see why they do it".
