A Dog Will Not Sharpen His Tongue, and the Dogs Will Not Eat Any of Them
The book of exodus is kind of woven between laws for keeping the passover and the actual events themselves. We don't have time in this survey to go into the details and symbolism of the pass ritself. The dead bodies of the egyp tians will be eaten up by the wild dogs. Against any of the sons of israel, a dog shall not even sharpen his tongue. He will not eat any of them, whether man or beast.
