New Testament scholar says it may be taken as historically certain that Peter and the disciples had experiences after Jesus' death in which Jesus appeared to them as the risen Christ. Historians are universally united in a view that people claimed to have seen Jesus resurrected. The origin of disciples belief in the resurrection of Christ despite you know strong predispositions to the contrary is explained by historian Gary Habermas.
