In Buenos Aires, people are moving into crypto to protect themselves and then the older people just have offshore dollar bank accounts. I feel like stable coins is probably going to end up one of the most important things for second world countries. Because those centralized stable coins, at least are backed by US dollars in the bank account, the banks are subject to regulatory pressure or confiscation. And so I would expect that if they really become a threat to the fiat financial system, that they will be shut down.
