The CBO has estimated a deficit ranging from 1.5 to $2 trillion per year for the next 10 years. The only way that gets funded is by a massive amount of issuance of Treasuries. And so look at the balance sheets of all these banks. I mean, they were going crazy. Well, then what happened when they raised rates? Boom. Unrealized losses. What do we do now? We bear our head in the sand and pretend it's not there. It could be that they pass a law that makes it the law that you buy bonds in your 401k.
