The Viability of Trend Following Trading
The trend following field is marked by unsubstantiated claims of success, a track record of failure and associated rationalizations. That is somebody who's really not happy about the subject of trend following trading. Look at each month over many decades. Notice which appears to be roughly on average as many positive months as negative months. It sounds very good. You throw in a bunch of mumbo jumbo and you know it sounds very academic.
