Ukranian National Identity in Real Time

Is this war, in a way, constructing or reconstructing ucranian national identity in real time? And if so, what sort of national identity is it that's being made? That's interest question. I would say that ucanian national identity has probably changed since madan, and especially since russia's aggression starting 20 14. But i think that, unfortunately, the sudden extreme militarization of a country can often have very dangerous knock on effects,. Especially when it is a place like Ucrane where there are already some problems with civilian defenders.
