The Devastation of the Maui Fires
CNN's Veronica Miracle reports now from the island of Maui were residents are still waiting to get back into some of the hardest hit areas. Lahaina residents will be allowed back into the city today to see the destruction up close, but not without a forewarning from the governor who told a local TV station: "I want to caution everyone. Everyone please brace themselves as they go back" And we're back with our national lead when the wildfires began in Hawaii on Tuesday. We surveyed the damage from above and the destruction is difficult to imagine.
