Macauzy Gar is a Russian journalist who fled the country rather than risk imprisonment as Moscow clamped down on independent media within its borders. He's out with a new book titled War and Punishment, Putin Zelensky and the path to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "Putin is trying to justify this war because of very recent history and Russia is poisoned with historical myths," he says.
