Ancient North American Art - The Adana Society
The adena, a society s to have formed based on a combination of hunting, gathering and farming. They built massive, often complex earthwork mounds where they buried their dead. The hopewell also created depictions of humans and some portraits that seem to possibly represent human animal combinations or humans taking on animal forms. And this suggests that maybe there were similar shamonic practices involving transformation into animals as we see in urasia.
