Fediverse social networks saw a big growth in November, December and dipped by January. The number of users are still much higher than they were pre-Elon Musk's Twitter takeover that started back in October. While Mastodon now reports 1.4 million users, Plaroma, Pixelfied, Mesquite, Kalki and other Fediverse networks have seen recent growth as well.
