Operation Mincemeat in the Far East
There was intelligence operations wherever we operated in wartime, and that included in North Africa. There were agents who were sent behind enemy lines in German uniform for example. In the Far East as well, we had various groups of codes and ciphers in Italy,. At the Far East, MI9 operated in the Far East. It was much more limited because it was primarily the domain of American intelligence. So I'd love to do more on that one day. For me, that's a really inspirational part of these Second World War stories. The men and women who simply of all ages were prepared to risk their lives for our freedom. And they really did put their lives on the line.
