It's a distraction for both sides because the Russians are having to vacuate the forces, the Ukrainians are dealing with evacuation of civilians in her song. The counter-offensive has begun and likely started on Monday with the initial reconnaissance and force attempts all across the entire front line. One interesting thing that people are not really paying as much attention to as I think they should is the Bachmoot area. Pragoshan's Wagner did take it but then promptly withdraws his forces back to training camps.
