Is the Inenet a Part of the Novel?
I think that's why i'm actually really drawn to fiction these days, that that deals with the inenet head on. The novel is a can be a calcified form, like it's hard for it to incorporate all this stuff and to incorporate this new way we're using language all the time. I mean, we have a hypertextual experience, but it's not the novel. And i think what the novel is can do is something different, this linear experience, which none the less, can reflect back to us this constant hyperactivity and kind of hyper referentiality and this kind of simultaneity.
