It was produced by Soladit O'brien, the executive producer of CNN's "This Is Life with Maria Cardona" The show looks at some of the most high-profile cases from around the world over three years. Lisa says she had a gut reaction to it: 'We should all be bloody uncomfortable watching this' And laura adds that even the music makes her feel enraged.
Today we analyze the cases of 21 year old Keeshae Jacobs who disappeared in 2016 from Richmond, VA and 16 year old Amaria Hall who went missing in 2019 from Trenton, MI. Neither mother of either girl was able to get law enforcement to react with urgency about their daughters. Jim talks about the terrible consequences of the "wait and see" attitude when it comes to the missing. Laura points out how important it is for law enforcement to examine baseline behavior in victims and identify red flags.
