The Passion of the Staff That Matters Most
In 2019 some of your junior staff were so peeved by what they saw as exploitation that they mounted a petition. A number of famous authors also signed saying this is not acceptable. You are paying us the legal minimum wage when the trades unions and others recognise a real living wage which is at least 10% more, he says. So it's the passion of the staff that matters most. I just wonder then why in recent years you've become known as somebody who insists on paying your staff. Why you insist on paying them as little as possible?
