Chat GPT - A Watermark for Chatbots

Scientists at University of Maryland made a watermarkering algorithm and tried to including it in a sex generated by Metas open source language model, OPT6.7B. The paper has yet to be peer reviewed, but the method is an interesting one. And they'll release the code February 15th. Here's an example of why that can differentiate machine generated text from human text.
