The Construction, Maintenance and Repair of Infrastructures of Communication and Media in Prisons
Prisons and prisoners have been engaged in the construction, maintenance and repair of infrastructures of communication and media through the 20th century. Components for almost every possible communication technology have at some point been built or produced in some way in the prison system. And then another big theme in this book is labor. And I saw labor ideas around labor coming up throughout the book, but you really focus on the labor of prisoners in chapter three.
