Bob Greene sold his portion of an investment management firm in 2012. He set up a foundation to fund scholarships for non-finance majors at his alma mater, the University of Michigan. His wife died recently and he says it has rocked him that she relied on him so much. "I truly believe that what I have to teach is not one thing that was my idea," said Greene.
