Everton are a victim of how just expensive the Premier League is. You have to spend so much money just to sort of stand still essentially. And I can understand why the fans are maybe a bit confused and tactically as well. The contrast between the level of performance they put in against Manchester City on Saturday compared to what they did last night was like two completely different teams. That lack of consistency just is baffling.
