The Importance of Mothering
intensive mothering is this idea that we place pretty unrealistic expectations on mothers. We ask mothers to d prioritize their own personal or professional pursuits, and really focus solely on mothering tasks. It might have a different application here but i do see it in different ways and cultures. I would love to read more about that and see that kind of work being done. And then when they don't meet the high expectation we also expect some meat judgment around it. So for lisa and i, because we were both working mams,. so well, how does this impact us? Because, you know, here are these people like bombs who say 'you need to be doing y x'
