The Importance of Training Nurses and Midwives

In 1959, I was trained in England. In 1960, I was the first. And it is that train that helped me to return to my country in 1961 and start training at that time. Today, Samaliland has over 1,200 trained nurses and midwives. That's a great turnover. But we should not be sleeping on our alarms, as they say. We need to train more for rural areas. Distance regions and areas that have yet not been blessed with having a trained nurse or a trained midwife.
