The organization was founded as the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association by the IFC of the World Bank over 20 years ago. The regions that we cover are Asia, Latin America, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Our board includes, for example, Bill Ford of General Atlantic, one of the world's largest private equity firms. As you mentioned, KKR, others are members.
