When people that are controlling them, towards the center and top, have these callous disregard for everybody else, certainly a lack of ampathy there. And usually it's quite obvious that that they don't actually care about anybody except for the bottom line or their ability to kind of steer people's actions toward whatever metric will make them look best. Now, robert hare had a very interesting quote about that. Someone was asking him about his study with prisoners and the reports of people meeting his threshold for psychopathy in the corporate world.
