Exeter Rebellion - John Hooker's Account
Almost everything we know about the rebellion is written by an Exeter man named John Hooker. Many of the citizens were actually in sympathy with the rebels but the town governors decided to hold the city against them. As a as a teenager i was actually an archaeologist in Exeter and i spent some of my time walking on the city walls that were defended at the time so again that's another thing that's always made me so intrigued about this rebellion it's almost followed me around all her life.
