When time is removed from the equation, this has an enormous performance benefit because all of our kind of fears and hopes take place. So when those things get shut off, we are literally getting out of our own way. This also explains why I love to watch some of these Alan Watts YouTube videos, a man constantly reminding us about the moment of now. The moment of now, right? I've seen you call it the elongated now, the eternal moment. That was his term for it.
