The Inevitability of Regime Collapse
The third element here is this notion of the inevitability of regime collapse. This is a massive problem amongst elites historically, and obviously we can see this right in front of our faces in the present moment with the climate crisis. It's a more nuanced determinism which says that if a conservative regime gets to a certain point of dysfunctionality and irrationality, then it will inevitably collapse. And usually this is because of a death cycle.
