Maybe you're one who worries that you are not good enough, or that failure is your success. Because all you do is fail.

That's some harsh reality. But these are the lies that we believe to be true.

But the truth is, you are created in God's image, and He has given you these gifts, talents, and abilities to be used to achieve your heart's desires and to honor Him.

Somehow, you find a way to talk yourself out of what you know to be true because the patterns of the world say so. In other words, you run from whose you are to who you wish you weren't still hoping for something different.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been specifically talking about preparation for life and how it all starts with the heart.

I get that everyone says you can be anything you want to be. But they forget to preface it with, "you'll only be able to do it if it's within you."

It's the preparation for life that starts in the heart.

A passionate and purposeful heart is a heart that is fully engaged and invested in something or someone, with a deep sense of commitment and drive to achieve a specific goal or objective, a mission or vision. It is a heart that is motivated by a deep sense of meaning and fulfillment, rather than just surface-level desires or temporary pleasures.

That kind of heart doesn't align with the patterns of this world. Your heart was created in the image of God's love and passion for you to live out your heavenly purpose here on earth.

And also, it's important to remember that God's timing is always perfect. And it might be that your dreams will be fulfilled in a different way than you imagined, but that doesn't mean that they are not worth pursuing.

Have faith, trust in God, and take the first step toward your dream, no matter how small that step may be.
