Phoebe anne moses was born in a cabin in dark county, ohio, back in 18 60. She was the fifth child of susan and jacob moses. Her four older sisters quickly took to calling her annie. To help the family survive, a seven year old Annie started trapping quail and other animals for food. A year later, she made her first shot with a on when she killed a squirrel for dinner just outside her house in greenville, ohio.
