The five C's are Clarify, communicate, consider a broad range of choices, check in and explore the likely consequences. How do you know that doing those five steps are better than any other five steps that somebody would come up with? Well, your five step process certainly makes sense but how do you know it works? I mean, is there research? And three years later, she'll realize that this was a really good move because her school life and her education is far better than it would have been.
