The Life of a Middle Class Woman in the Victorian Era
She's quite sparse in the notes that she gives. So there's often just a name and a date. But sometimes she will include things like, there's a particular few samples where she includes morning clothes that were worn by her friend Hannah Kubra. She recalled her life. And so you get this kind of run of textiles that came from some of the small shops that she was able to purchase cloth from out in Singapore. They just never made it into the pages of those history books. This is one of the few routes into finding out about these fairly ordinary women.
