Alcohol and Culture

Delarga boys asked why some cultures had less exposure to alcohol than others. Gender as well is always going to be a factor in differentiating the way in which people are allowed to drink alcohol or notallowed to drink alcohol. legitimacy is a really important concept, what is legitimate consumption and what is illegitimate consumption? And that is going to vary for a whole host of reasons from one culture to the next.
