Alex Castellanos: Fidel Castro was a fairly extraordinary figure. He never really engaged in things like cults of personality, he says. After Che Guevara died, his image became a sort of global icon for the Cuban revolution; that's what they used to promote their cause. And I think had the situation been different, he could easily have swung a different way on that front,. But very, very much, you know, an extremely strong nationalist, consistently an extremely strong figure in that regard.
