Richard Feynman: A computer is a high class super speed, nice, streamlined filing system. People in the computer business say they're not really computers that data handlers. There's a lot of data on cards and you're handling it. Take cards out, look at them, put them back and saw. So that's what the computer does. And I'm going to describe first an old-fashioned filing system and then we'll talk about how it's improved or how it might be improved.
