The Difference Between Austrians and Other Economists
Economists today, they are basically in the business of assessing policy. So not only taking a suggested policy and figuring out what the results are, but also suggesting tweaks to it so that you can get a certain result. It's really a policy tool more than anything else. Whereas Austrians are, I mean, we see the economy as sort of this superorganism in the sense. You can't really know exactly the outcome because very often we don't know ourselves what we want.
