The Importance of Playing Tennis in a Small Town
Every indoor tennis club in Buffalo allowed me to play for free. All the men, the best men players in Buffalo, starting when I was eight already let me play in their group and play with them. So yes, I always felt this, you know, obligation almost to Buffalo tennis community because of the way they took care of me as a kid. They recognized if 13 you need to leave. And it just so happened sort of the way I ended up with Nick Volatary was the colony beach on Florida's coast. The only reason I went to the colony is because the owner of the colony was from Buffalo. That's where I met Nick and that's how that whole thing started
