He wanted to make what he called a penny newspaper for a hapenny. He and his brother, harold, harold halmsworth, who later became the first viscount brothermere, made their money in magazines. It wasn't until they were selling over a million e copies of their magazines weekly that they then turned to newspapers. The daily mail is one of the publications perhaps hes most associated with.
