Using Organic Semi Conductors for Applications
Organic means made from conjugated molecular materials. Molecules whose electronic structure means they can interact with a visible light. Light is absorbed in the die and then there's a charge transfer process, which is a bit like what happens in photo synthesis. And because of the a symmetry of the electrodes, you have a direction, and you get potocurent so that was a very interesting system.
