The Class Action Lawsuit for Tampa General Hospital
L Scott: Law firm lodging a class action lawsuit on behalf of three victims affected by the data breach. L Scott: I feel like law firms going for class action lawsuits is it's like the new like injured injured at work or were you involved in a car accident. If this hospital does get sued, just like they would get sued for malpractice, if like a doctor, like left some scalpel inside somebody after a surgery. So, we'll see. Hopefully it doesn't set a precedent. And then everybody who's affected by the class action lawsuit can get their 37 cent check in the mail and then the law firm will get their money, which is in the millions.
