Indexes in Comedy Books

There's a real sort of nice er kind of overlap between what a good index looks like and. what a good now takedown looks like. I think writing the index really made me much more conscious of what a book actually is in terms of gatherings of paper, in terms of the page number. For example, here's another thing, those mediaeval indexes only work for the book in which they appear. You need the invention of printing so that we can all be, as you said earlier, on the same page,. so that your page 17 is definitely the same as my page 17. But i presumably now you had sight that, and you are able to ano a look at it.
