Global Bond Yields Sinking Right Now
In the past 24 hours, three major central banks have hiked prompting bond yields in all three economies to decline. The opposite of what you think market showed absolutely no respect to the rate hikes from Powell, Belly and Lagarde at the Fed, the Bank of England and the European central bank. Even while all three promised more rate hikes to come, take a look here. What happened? The Fed up 25 US 10 year down 13 basis points, ECB up 50, the Boon down 19 basis points, BOE up 50, guilt falling by 27 basis points.
