The NRA is a diminished political entity. They're nowhere near the force they were a few election cycles ago, but there's still the remnants of their influence. The Republicans are still scared. It's become a cultural issue. There doesn't seem to be any political courage or appetite in the calls of Congress to get anything done beyond that. President Biden's cries will fall on deaf ears.
