How to Reconcile a Zero Sum Budget
Once a week, I export stuff and just plug it into our spreadsheets. And then I do manually move them. Takes me about 30 minutes to look over those numbers; we don't even have meetings anymore. So that's basically what kind of helps dictate and point us in the right direction for the rest of the month. The road trip, well, that kind of comes out of vacation. We know that, OK, this is going to include all of our expenses for that trip. That's how we reconcile it in that case.
