Sudan's Civil War
The tragedy is that a country that was clinging to a measure of stability for a few years now seems to be heading for or in civil war like most of its neighbors. There is no obvious way out of this and you can be sure that China will seek a role in this since due course, may play a role. But if neighboring conflicts are any guide, think Ethiopia, Eritrea, Burkina Faso, Mali, this will go on as long as and until the resources of the warring parties are exhausted. The concern is that far from being contained, it'll spill over, especially into Chad, which was this part of Africa up until now.
