The Relationship Between the British and the Media

Most people in Britain have a low opinion of the French Emperor and an even lower opinion of the Russian Emperor. So it's not as if we're picking sides, these are both regimes that the British public have been taught to despise or have some kind of contempt for. The domestic media is interesting because when the crisis starts everybody thinks the French have started it. But quickly British politicians realize that it really is the Russians driving this crisis. And more importantly the Russians can invade Novi throw the Ottoman Empire by land by sea. The French do not have the power to do that. Working with the French is a better guarantee of keeping the Ottoman Empire in one piece.
