Christ's Death on the Cross Is a Dramatic Image of Jesus

Jesus died on the cross to establish a new agreement between god and man. He didn't just break bread or pour out wine, he gave it to them in dramatic form. We have to eat his flesh and drink his blood as part of receiving him into our hearts - we can make him our own.
