The Manuscript: A Book Review
The word itself is a kind of duet of two words, the latin manus, meaning and screbere, to write. So it simply means a hand written object. A lot of what i wanted to do in writing the book was capture something of the experience that i have when i'm turning the pages of a mediaeval manuscript. When you hold a mediaeval manuscripts, what you hold is a collection of human stories.
