The Wars of the Roses - A Brief History

No period in scottish history is quite so violent as mith would have it. Conflict over lands which are contested, and also families rendered landless by growth of the house of argyle. Some land held by charter from crown, some not; there's often a mixture. It doesn't lead to social breakdown.
