The Christian Ethics of Humility and Self-Sacrifice
No Muslim listening to this will feel I've been unfair by saying, Muhammad was a gloriously successful military general. The expansive military tradition is a venerable tradition in Islam. So it's Christians who follow the crucified guy. Yes. And that changes everything. Right. They don't follow the one who, you know, came to give his life for others. They follow a warrior. Mm-hmm. Yeah. It's a point of pride. But why would I use a Christian ethic of humility and self-sacrifice and turning the other cheek and love to critique Muslims? That is not their tradition.
