New Orleans is trying to galvanize a fan base again and be like, Hey, we brought in this new shiny toy. Is he that shiny? No, he seems really dull. This is the the quarterback conundrum if you're a GM. It's clear now that certain draft picks are misses that were high draft picks. The question becomes can Derek Carr be the answer? I don't think so. And that middle class of quarterbacks is a really tough pill to swallow when you have to pay him 35 million.
